Iryna Pugachova Holds a Ph.D. in Russian linguistics and is actively involved in teaching Russian as a Foreign language courses on the college level, including the workshops on Russian stylistics and translation requirements for legal (judicial) and politically-inclined texts.As a professional translator with more than 20 years of experience, Iryna participated in several large projects, translating to/from English, Russian, and Ukrainian language the following materials:Voter’s guides and political candidates’ platforms/ biographies for several US localities“Onboarding” documents for Ukrainian immigrants for one of the provinces of Canada, including voter registration and election participation guide, as well as Canadian political system infographics for the newcomersIryna is one of the co-founders of “Pro-Life” Charitable Foundation in her native city of Kharkiv (Ukraine). Her responsibility is the international PR outreach, that includes translation of the Foundation’s legal documents (Charter), procedures of electing the Officers, and biographies/ mission statements of the latter.
