The main reason for this team is to establish collaboration amongst Proz members and participators who live in the Amazonian region, Brazil, especially Belém do Pará. It is also to maintain translation quality standards, as well as to discuss future projects, Proz features and other translation related matters.

Born in Spain, from Catalan mother and Italian father. Since 1994 based in the Brazilian Amazon region, working here and there as a translator and interpreter in technical English & Italian into Portuguese & Spanish.
Professional interpreter and translator since 1991. Founder and owner of Contact Translations. Member of SINTRA and ATA; founding member of AIB and 1st Secretary and Regional Representative of ABRATES. My personal language combinations are: Portuguese (BR) to English (US); Spanish to English (US) and English (US) to Portuguese (BR).
