I have a few clients in the USA (North Carolina + Connecticut + Virginia (GMT-4), California (GMT-7) and one in the Philippines (GMT+8), but anyway communication isn’t hard at all. Most of my clients are just one or two hours away…
I do, New Zealand, Australia and USA
How about "Yes, and communication is easy"?
|
|
I would if asked, at the moment all my clients are based in Europe.
I have occasionally applied on Proz for jobs based in the USA but never had any success.
Japan and USA and communication is not hard.

Most of my clients are in Europe, the furthest one is in Dubai. I know that one PM works from Brazil, but there is no problem at all.
I've had a few one-time jobs for clients in USA and Canada, the communication wasn't exactly "hard" but very slow indeed. I got e-mails during the night, replied in the morning and then it took an entire day again until the next exchange. Not suitable for tight deadlines and/or complicated projects.
Home country and source countries are one hour apart. Can’t see the need to work for anyone elsewhere.

Most of my clients are either 1-2 hours ahead of me or 6-7 hours behind me. Now and then I'll have a client from further away, e.g. the US west coast or e.g. New Zealand or Hongkong, in which case there is usually a 1-day gap between each round of communication, which is fine if both parties are aware of this.

I do and I'm willing to work with new ones as well. Technology has made communication a lot easier regardless of location/time zone.
