Other (no idea!) Dec 17

I wonder how many vendor managers there are among us so that the answers to this question can have a modicum of validity?

When I worked as a PM we already had a rather large database. If we had to look for new translators, we would look up members in the Institute of Linguists or the Institute of Translation and Interpreting.

Apparently, not ProZ.com Dec 17

By the looks of it, they no longer go to ProZ.com, which has been very, very quiet in the past couple of years: few jobs, even fewer conversations in the forums, the same old look since 1999 with a never-ending 'facelift', Plus subscription benefits that were promised but never materialized…

CVs Dec 17

When I had my own translation agency a long time ago, I posted an ad on a paper requesting CVs from translators --I got hundreds. Plus, in Spain, you can find sworn translators on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs web.
