I only accept urgent jobs from my regular customers and how much I’ll charge depends entirely on the job. In general, I don't apply a surcharge rate to some of my regular clients, but if it's a client that gives me work once in a blue moon, I will increase my rate for sure. I have two long-standing clients, who very regularly request small but urgent translations and we agreed some time ago that I would give priority to their work and invoice accordingly.

But it gets attention, and traffic, so for them it's a good tactic.

Crazy but true. A sad world we're in.
