1. Interpreter and Administrative Support Positions

Qualifications:
• Language Skills: Proficiency in Russian and Uzbek-Korean interpretation. Native-level fluency in Russian and equivalent proficiency in Korean required (certification or proof of experience needed).
• Professional Background: Graduate-level education in construction or at least 10 years of experience working in public institutions related to construction or Korean construction companies.
• Work Conditions: Residency in Tashkent is required, or ability to reside in Tashkent during the assignment period, with availability for regular visits to the Ministry of Construction.


2. Uzbekistan Building Code (UBC) Translation, Revision Advisory, and Institutionalization Support Position
Vacancy: 1 individual
Qualifications:
• Educational Background: Degree in the field of construction.
• Language Skills: Ability to translate and review documents from English to Uzbek.
• Professional Capabilities: Competence in reviewing, advising on local adaptation, and supporting the institutionalization of amendments or the establishment of the Uzbekistan Building Code (UBC).
• Additional Qualifications: A law degree or extensive experience in the construction sector with profound knowledge in the field is preferred.

Project Duration: From mid to late February 2024 until the end of June 2024.
