Bio:I am a freelance translator and interpreter living in Guatemala City, Central America. I also teach English five hours, six days per week . I enjoy my work because of the variety of topics I work with - never boring; and because I love English.
Message:Hello fellow translators! I hope to meet you one-by-one during a conference some time soon!
Bio:I am Sworn Translator authorized in the Republic of Guatemala
I work in translation since 1988.
I began translating in the Salvation Army about 24 years ago, where I was part of the team of translators for the Sponsorship Program. I worked 16 years in the largest... electrical energy distributor and marketer, where I had the opportunity to translate several documents, both technical and managerial. I have a University degree in translation, and I am a Certified Sworn Translator.
I have a lot of experience in many fields: Legal, commercial, electrical engineering, health and security, business (in general), commercial letters, and others.
I also work as a translation teacher in my country, mostly in private classes, which has given me the opportunity to grow in this field.
