Yes, it was empty accidentally. Er, I filled the space and clicked Post, and the...poof! Ah well, I repeat:
I was approached about a job called "interpretive transcription". File to be about 100 minutes. I'm interested, but have no idea how or what to charge! Grateful for all suggestions. "Hefty hourly rate" sounds good but I think I'm expected to know what a "100 minute file" means in terms of work time. And I don't.

What‘s the format, is it an interview?

Google says 5k-9k words in 1 hour of audio. You may google average word volume in X time of audio or video. Although that‘s not the only factor, eg. subject area, recording quality etc. may also play a part. Interpretive seems like drafting a piece of original writing, while verbatim is more mechanical.
