Character/string that will cause a line feed in Word

I'd like to add a character/string in my CAT tool that will cause a line feed (new line) in Word (2016) once the exported DOCX is opened in Word.

In CAT tool:

* long segment without line feed LF * long segment without line feed LF * long segment without line feed LF * long segment without line feed LF

(Where LF represents a special character/string to enforce a line feed.)

Should open in Word as:

* long segment without line feed <... See more

This depends on the CAT tool. In OmegaT, Shift+Enter normally acts this way.
