Hello everyone,
I have downloaded a 15 day trial of Abby Fine Reader.
In trial form, there is no technical support.
I have succeeded in importing the pdf file.
I want to convert it to Word.
However it will only allow me to see page one of a 3 page report.
I am allowed 50 free pages with the trial.
Can someone tell me how to visualize the other 2 pages.
I have been badly burned with apps before. I don't mind paying for this one, but I want to make s

Only first page - it's trial limitation Nov 27, 2013

But you can split your 3-page report in 3 separate 1-page documents

ABBYY FineReader Nov 27, 2013

If this helps at all, I have been a user of ABBYY FineReader for a number of years now, and I can speak for its reliability and value. The price is really sensible for all that the tool has to offer to a professional translator. Version 11 is even better than the version 9 I used to have until a few months ago.

If you ask me, ABBYY FineReader is quite a safe investment if what you need is really OCR.

If you mostly handle PDF files with text as objects (something you can see because you can select the text in Adobe Reader), you are probably better off with Iceni Infix, another very cost-effective solution.

Still can't select text. Dec 1, 2013

Hello Tomás,
I have succeeded in splitting the document into three pages.
However the "Word" text still does not allow me to select the text.
It looks to me like this is a scanned PDF.
Would Incenix be better for this?
Thanks,
Jessie

If you can select text in the PDF use either Adobe Acrobat Professional or Inceni Infix.
For scanned documents (or PDfs where you can't select text) Finereader is a very nice and professional tool.

if you want to know how to use Finereader optimally, you might want to join my webinar "OCR using Finereader 11" http://alexandria-library.com/all-courses/9360424281/ on December 12, 2013.
