It seems w8.1 does not support Microsoft Framework 1.1.4322, which is what Olifant prompts me to install to execute the program. Any workarounds?

Thanks

Try NET 2.0 Jun 29, 2015

Try NET 2.0: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh925570(v=vs.110).aspx

If that doesn't work, try the Retargeting trick (see the Migrating link at the bottom of the above page). This is possible only if you have the mentioned configuration file, though.

Thank you guys for your comments. I solved the problem by troubleshooting the compatibility of the installer and the installation ran smoothly. The program is now working great.

Thanks again.
