Από τα συμφραζόμενηα και από πηγές του διαδικτύου κατάλαβα ότι πρόκειται για μηχανισμό που αντιστρέφει ή διακόπτει την κίνηση του ηλεκτρικού παραθύρου μόλις κάποιος αισθητήρας αντιληφθεί την παρουσία εμποδίου κατά το κλείσιμο του παραθύρου (π.χ. χέρι, κεφάλι κ.ο.κ.). Συνεπώς σκοπός αυτής της λειτουργίας είναι η αποφυγή της σύνθλιψης του εν λόγω αντικειμένου. Δες π.χ. την παρακάτω εξήγηση:

Ο όρος "αντισυνθλιπτική προστασία" υπάρχει σε ελληνικό site για γκαραζόπορτες. Δεν ξέρω αν είναι δόκιμος στην αυτοκινητοβιομηχανία.
