Bio

I am a native Finn, residing in the heart of Eastern Finland. I am bilingual and speak Finnish and German as my mother tongue.

Before translating professionally I worked in various different fields, which has provided me a solid knowledge in many different areas of work as well as different fields.

I have translated professionally since 2006. In 2013 I took over the lead of family-owned translation business. The same year I also finished a BBA degree from Saimaa University of Applied Sciences, Lappeenranta, Finland.

Personally, translating is a match made in heaven for me. I enjoy the fast pace and quickly changing subject areas of the work. I have an inquisitive mind and enjoy digging up new information. This being said, I take great pride in the quality of work I deliver and constantly strive to improve. I am always open for new challenges!
