This might well be a typo in the SPanish original for "automatizadores", but even if it is I am not sure what the translation should be:
El autor señala aquí el cambio radical de paradigma en la producción cultural que provoca el uso de instrumental tecnológico en las obras de arte. Una producción de imágenes, sonidos, objetos y eventos que se obtiene hoy por medio del uso de algoritmos automatzadores de procedimientos que pueden reprogramarse, transformándose y respondiendo a estímulos externos e internos.
Automator??
Thanks

algorithms that automate
I am sure it must be a typo for "automatizadores".
"Algoritmos automatizadores de procedimientos" means the same as "algoritmos que automatizan procedimientos". I think the writer has expressed it like this because "que pueden reprogramarse" refers to "algoritmos", not to "procedimientos" — it's the algorithms that can be reprogrammed, not the procedures — and if he/she had written "altorimos que automatizan procedimientos que pueden reprogramarse", the reader would understand that the procedures can be reprogrammed (and also the two successive relatives, three counting "que se obtiene", would be clumsy).
We have a similar problem with the accumulation of relatives in English, but I think it can be solved by saying, for example:
"A production of images, sounds, objects and events obtained/achieved nowadays by using algorithms that automate procedures and can be reprogrammed..."

Cheers, Neil ;-) Yep, if it stood alone you could use "automating", but in this context it doesn't work: "automating algorithms of procedures".
