Poate au vrut sa spuna "notes of hand" sinonim pentru "promissory note" - A written promise to pay or repay a specified sum of money at a stated time or on demand. Also called note of hand.

O definitie pentru "note": A certificate issued by a government or a bank and sometimes negotiable as money.

As spune fie certificate, fie, cum sugera si Mihai, efecte de comert, dar, cum acestea au semnificatii diferite, poate ar fi mai bine sa consulti clientul (cum tot Mihai sugera).
