Ich suche das folgende Zitat des Muminvaters auf Deutsch, wahrscheinlich aus Mumins Inselabenteuern:

“It’s probably the biggest lighthouse that was ever built. And do you realize that this is the very last island, nobody lives beyond it – there´s nothing but sea? We’re looking the sea straight in the face, so to speak, and far behind us are all those people who live on islands much nearer to the mainland. It’s a wonderful thought, don´t you think?”

Wir haben zwar auch zwei Bände Mumins, aber leider habe ich es dort nicht gefunden.

"Groß?", rief der Muminvater aus. "Er ist enorm! Wahrscheinlich der größte Leuchtturm, der je gebaut worden ist. Und denkt daran, dass dies die allerletzte Insel ist, weiter draußen wohnt niemand mehr - dort liegt nur das Meer. Wir schauen dem Meer ins Gesicht und weit hinter uns sind all die andern, die Bewohner der inneren Schären, sozusagen. Ist das nicht eine großartige Vortellung"?
