Types of contracts Explanation: I have translated this tricky term today and found out that "espécie" has nothing to do with the presence/absence of money in the transaction. In the Brazilian Civil Code, Law No. 10406, you can find all transactions named in "TÍTULO VI: Das Várias Espécies de Contrato."
