Reference: Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE= Reference information: The Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE/PGCertEd) is a one- or two-year higher education course in England, Wales and Northern Ireland which provides training in order to allow graduates to become teachers within maintained schools. In England, there are two routes available to gaining a PGCE – either on a traditional university-led teacher training course or school-led teacher training.[1] In addition to gaining the PGCE qualification itself, those who have successfully completed the course in England or Wales are recommended for qualified teacher status (QTS) - the requirement to teach in state maintained schools in England and Wales. The PGCE is a professional qualification normally taught at a university or other higher education institution, with much of the course time spent on placements in local schools. A trainee teacher will have to meet the Standards for qualified teacher status and any course specific requirements to be awarded the PGCE. In England only, a trainee teacher also has to pass the professional skills tests before starting a course. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Postgraduate_Certificate_in_Ed... -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 2 days 11 hrs (2019-05-29 20:36:09 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Wenn ich mich nicht irre, denke ich, dass es sich hier um das PGCE halndelt, die in England für Absolventen aller Fachrichtungen angeboten wird, um sich als Lehrer zu qualifizieren (siehe Referenz unten). PGCE The course blends theoretical knowledge with carefully supervised teaching experience, combined with the subject knowledge required to develop confident and innovative teachers who will make this vital subject accessible to all learners. https://www.sunderland.ac.uk/study/education/pgce-history/ What is a Supervised Teaching Experience? The Supervised Teaching Experience (STE) serves to integrate course content within a practical teaching and learning environment. Specially designed STE assignments provide opportunities for students to apply, practice and generalize concepts and skills presented in university courses. https://www.pdx.edu/sites/www.pdx.edu.gse_assessment/files/s... |
