He doesn’t stop me at my limits/ boundaries Explanation: I think depending on the context there may be two meanings: 1- the teacher lets the student work beyond his/her capabilities 2- the teacher isn’t correcting the student’s misbehaviour/ excesses The translation I suggested is suitable for the former meaning, while the latter would require something like: “he doesn’t stop me from crossing the line” |
