A rundown tank mounted inside the enclosure is during
normal operation supplied with a steady flow GG lubrication oil after it is cooled and filtered.
Excess oil is returned to the synthetic oil reservoir.
In case of loss of electric power, the lube oil supply pumps will stop and a solenoid valve will open.
Oil from the elevated tank will flow through the power turbine bearings providing sufficient lubrication until the power turbine has come to a complete stop.
