Arabic term or phrase: نبتة اليقطين
Hi everyone,

I'm working on a Sudanese novel. In this part, a husband is comparing his wife's ears to this plant, but I'm not sure if it's pumpkin leaves?

"وأذنيها الواسعتين كأوراق نبتة اليقطين"

I just wanted to make sure that in Sudan يقطين still means pumpkin?

Thank you!
