outer terms Explanation: 1. Hoofdeigenschap & afgeleide eigenschappen De hoofdeigenschap: In een evenredigheid is het product van de uiterste termen gelijk aan het product van de middelste termen. Afgeleide eigenschappen: In een evenredigheid mag men de uiterste termen van plaats wisselen. In een evenredigheid mag men de middelste termen van plaats wisselen. So this means in an equation 3/4 = 6/8, you can multiply the outer terms 3x8 = 24 and the inner terms 4x6 = 24 and you will get the same result. And you can switch the inner terms, so you get 3/6 = 4/8 = 1/2. Now who says math can't be cool??? :-D |
