Shootover Szenario Explanation: Mit 'Code-E aircraft' sind Flugzeuge der Größe ab B777 (52m+ Rumpflänge) gemeint. https://skybrary.aero/articles/icao-aerodrome-reference-code "To overshoot the runway" bedeutet, dass das Flugzeug bei der Landung aus technischen, meteorologischen Gründen oder wegen Navigationsfehlern erst jenseits des Landebahnendes zum Stehen kommt, sozusagen auf der Wiese...Nicht zu verwechseln mit "overrun", was beim Start passieren kann. https://aviation.stackexchange.com/questions/25695/whats-the... Hier zum Beispiel wird das Risiko eines solchen für alle Beteiligten (Crew/Passagiere/ATC) sicherlich sehr unangenehmen Geschehens auch im Deutschen als "overshoot" bezeichnet: http://www.fluglaerm-basiliensis.ch/dokumente/eap/eap_risiko...
