with a priority period (extending) to... Explanation: I wonder if this has anything to do with the other question of an 'acte' - if so what is the connection. Example sentence(s):

with the priority of Explanation: This is referring to the priority right of a patent applicant to file a new application with the same valid date as another patent previously filed in a different country. I'd translate it as "Patent filed on 25 January 2013 with the priority of 10 September 2012." An example of this usage can be seen at: https://www.epo.org/en/boards-of-appeal/decisions/t030623eu1 For an explanation of the concept of priority, you can read: https://e-courses.epo.org/wbts_int/litigation/Priority.pdf -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 hr (2023-12-08 14:18:34 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Another common option, of course, is "with the priority date of", but "date" is not given in the source text, so it it probably better to leave it out here too. https://www.epo.org/en/boards-of-appeal/decisions/t030623eu1 https://e-courses.epo.org/wbts_int/litigation/Priority.pdf |
