Hi - I'm checking to see if there's a better translation for "assimilato" in the following context rather than "assimilated" It appears in
a certificate (IL DIPLOMA DI SPECIALIZZAZIONE IN CHIRURCIA GENERALE) as follows.


Il suddetto titolo soddisfa i requisiti di formazione di cui all' articolo 25 della
Direttiva 2005/36/CE del 7 settembre 2005 essendo assimilato, ai sensi dell'art. 23,
punto 6 al titolo "Diploma di medico specialista".
