Here they mention "baptismal certificate" (found several 1000 hits on that in google.) The phrase you mention: "The church book concerning the Landvik area in the city/parish of Hommedal shows that Jon Martin son/daughter of the parents....." Comment from my side: Jon and Martin are common Norwegian first names (here used to describe one person having both of the names as his first names.) Good luck !
