Nos Estados Unidos, ISO (in search of) é a abreviatura padrão para esta categoria de "Personal Ads". Aliás, estes últimos são geralmente abreviados por "Personals" (sempre no plural). Apesar da falta de concordância em número, é comum dizer "a Personals ISO" (I found her in a a Personals ISO). Contudo, para uma tradução, é melhor não ser tão informal.

agree  Rute Fidalgo: Personal ads is the right expression, ISO isn't necessary. Personal ads is a wide known expression, people even refer to them as just "personals".
