composition and lighting Explanation: It seems to me that arranging/laying out/doing something else to "composition elements" is called "composing" or "composition." I realize that people talk about "composition elements" and "design elements" all the time in advertising and architecture, but when it comes to expressing the verbal action, I don't see any reason for keeping the extra words.
