Can anyone tell me what the difference is between "Ungdomsutbildning" and "Grundskolan"? I keep translating "ungdomsutbilding" as "youth education", but this doesn't sound correct. Is is referring to Gymnasiet? I am working on the results of a survey of Scandinavian attitudes toward their educational systems. Here is a sample sentence:

I svaren finns generellt en skillnad mellan attityderna hos frldrar till elever i ungdomsutbildningen och grundskolefrldrarna.

senior high school education
Explanation:
'Ungdomsutbildning' is pretty bad Swedish. What is referred to is most probably 'Gymnasieskolan' comprising the vocational part (like 'elektriker'-/'industri'-/'vård'-programmet). The word 'gymnasiet' has a ring of older days when it was a theoretical, university preparation education.
I suppose you know best how to translate it into today's American term, which I presume is 'senior high school'.
