Правда, слово "окуривать" для неспециалиста не передает того факта, что паров HClO4 там должно быть много и что раствор будет их агрессивно поглощать. Мне хочется сказать, хоть это и неуклюже: "раствор обрабатывают хлорной кислотой из газовой фазы" 26 mins   -> Спасибо, Антон! Думаю, здесь возможны разные вариации на эту тему.
