English term or phrase: general line can
Hi! I hope you can help me with this translation.

Context

When it comes to safe, sustainable and versatile packaging, it’s hard to beat the **general line can**, which is used to package paints, lubricants and other chemical products

I've found this classification
https://disenodeenvasesyembalajes.blogspot.com/2012/01/los-e...

Por su fin estratégico
Envases para líneas de productos
Envases de uso posterior
Envases promocionales

but "envases para líneas de productos" doesn't seem to fit my sentence. Could it be simply "envases industriales"?

Spanish translation:Lata (o bote) genérico
Explanation:
I think in Spain we'd go for lata genérica (o bote, I kind of prefer -my father was a painter) though obviously "lata" has the metal part in it. But it was simpler than some thought, just the general type of can, nothing to do with "line of production".

Explanation:
"can" se refiere específicamente a latas.
https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lata

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/General_line_of_merchandise
