English term or phrase: product sold by weight
Is there a term in German, which denotes non-packaged products sold by weight? Or should it be translated as a phrase? Products are supposed to be food.
Presumable variants include 'lose Lebensmittel' / 'lose Produkte' / 'Waren, die nach Gewicht verkauft werden' / 'Produkte, die nach Gewicht verkauft werden' etc. Or perhaps it should look very different?

Thank you! I liked two terms suggested as answers. The only reason I choose 'Waren' is its higher frequency on the web. Though most domains are in Switzerland, I guess it is righteous for all German-speaking countries.

Explanation:
Fungibles exist in Roman-derivative Scots law, rather than in (inferior) English Common Law, hence unbeknownst to most English & Welsh lawyers, let alone translators & interpreters.


Example sentence(s):
  • If goods are sold by weight or number, then they are *probably* not fungible goods -> wrong and based on a misconception, misunderstanding & misapprehension of the term..
