Explanation: Not sure if that's the correct form of the word in Russian, but it means "unpredictable", i.e. any team, or any of a large number, could win it, not just one or two. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 2002-09-04 19:59:40 (GMT) -------------------------------------------------- As MTovbin says, мнения разделились. So why not ask the Spaniards? It\'s their league. I am going to put this as a Spanish-English question and we\'ll see what comes of it. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 2002-09-04 20:02:37 (GMT) -------------------------------------------------- As MTovbin says, мнения разделились. Was this a good idea? I\'m not sure. I\'ll leave it open for a while. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 2002-09-04 20:43:36 (GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Maybe it wasn\'t a good idea. I don\'t see how I can give points to the Spanish-English question to my own solution without it looking like some sort of self-promotion. I have put a note to that effect there. But their answers do show a few more ways of looking at this. |
