English term or phrase: synchronized timing

Dear colleagues,
I have a little doubt about the meaning of “synchronized timing" in the passages below, taken from a chapter about the importance of interpersonal synchrony in psychotherapy.
I know that “timing" can also mean “synchronization”, but in this case maybe it is used in combination with “synchronized” to mean “temporal synchronization”., although it seems a bit redundant... Might it be just another way of saying "synchronization"?
(the second occurrence of synchronized timing is toward the end of the second passage...)

Kaye and Fogel (1980) examined how gaze synchrony enhances social relatedness and cognitive growth. Cohn and Tronick (1988) researched the role of affect synchrony in the development of self-regulatory capacities in children. Jaffe and colleagues (2001) identified how vocal synchrony between parent and child during what Trevarthen (1989) dubbed the earliest “proto-conversations” builds language skills, while resulting in attachment security. These studies, among a host of more contemporary others (e.g., Atzil & Gendron, 2017; Nguyen et al., 2020), point to the importance of biobehavioral synchrony during development.
Given extensive research indicating *** synchronized timing *** between mother (or other primary caregiver) and child, perhaps it is no surprise that the very language of attuned response points toward coordinated timing, especially critical during the earliest years to build secure attachment.
