Course work Explanation: I shouldn't think there is anything wrong with the obvious "course work", though those with direct experience of the Russian and US education systems may know better. Plenty of support on Google, including the following: Board of Educational Examiners: Required Course Work Three hours of course work in child growth and development with emphasis on the emotional, physical, and mental characteristics and needs of middle school age children in addition to related studies completed as part of the professional education core in 14.19(3). Three hours of course work in middle school curriculum design and instruction; including, but not limited to, instruction in interdisciplinary teaming in addition to related studies completed as part of the professional education core in 14.19(3). Six hours of course work in the social studies to include course work in American history, world history, and geography. Six hours in mathematics to include course work in algebra. Six hours in science to include course work in life science and physical science Six hours in language arts to include course work in grammar, composition, and speech.
