That means if you go to Wall Street looking for signs saying "financial intermediary", you won't find any, but there are plenty of brokers. The courts do not use economic theory jargon, they use economic practise jargon, at least in the part of the judgment that sayd who must do what. Consequently it is inappropriate to use terms of econ theory when translating bankruptcy judgments. |
