arrogance (ou fierté) rusée et couronne incertaine Explanation: superlicious don't found in any dictionary , but supercilious . je ne suis pas experte dans le domaine , mais je trouve la phrase acceptable comme sens satyrique. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 34 mins (2011-03-24 09:06:46 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- ou ruse arrogante ,dédaigneuse , enfin je sais plus . |

with guile supercilious and garlands uncertain avec faux-semblant impérieux et festons hasardeux Explanation: XVIe s.— Les armoiries estoient entournoyées d'ung joyeux feston de myrtes, lauriers et orangiers (RABELAIS) (source : sansagent) faux-semblant comme synonyme de guile, duplicité impérieux pour supercilious, hautain J'ai choisi impérieux, car cela me fait penser aux aigles impériales. Le tout me convient assez à cause de la rime en "eu" et de la petite allitération f-s :-) -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 4 hrs (2011-03-24 13:08:05 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Pour un vrai jeu de mots que seuls les initiés en héraldique comprendraient (je viens de découvrir un site assez complet) : alésé en chef ( qui veut dire que la pièce ne touche pas les bords) mais qu'on peut entendre comme "à léser en chef" pour "guile supercilious" - mais bon, là je m'amuse ! http://blasons.free.fr/heraldique/pieces.html#d_bord |
