barter account Explanation: Anytime goods and services are exchanged between two entities, it is a barter arrangement. As long as the sales and purchases are properly accounted for to show gross income and expenses, there is no problem.. If the account is only netted out, there could be an under reporting problem, particularly where gross income is taxed, as in some states such as HI NM, CA and others. Business current account Explanation: A "cuenta corriente" is a standard current account, wheras a "cuenta mercantil" is a mechant account or business account.
