Explanation:
Colaborador me suena más a un empleado que tengas a tu gargo. "Fellow" es un "colega" (uno "igual") o un "compañero/a". Además, dependerá del país que se trate, pues, en España decimos "compañero/a [de trabajo]", porque "colega" alude más bien a un "amigo" (en plan informal).

En otros países, no sabría decirte.
