4 | CCSS and INS Payroll Contributions |
|
Planillas CCSS e INS CCSS and INS Payroll Contributions Explanation: There's a space missing between "CCSS" and "e", so it should be "Planillas CCSS e INS" not "Planillas CCSSe INS". See this job ad from Costa Rica: http://www.bolsatrabajo.cr/empleo/Encargado-De-Planillas-Ccs... "CCSS" means the "Caja Costarricense de Seguro Social", which in English is "Costa Rican Department of Social Security", see here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Costa_Rican_Department_of_Soci... And "INS" means "Instituto Nacional de Seguros", which in English is "National Insurance Institute", see here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Insurance_Institute So this means "Payroll Contributions to the Costa Rican Department of Social Security and National Insurance Institute", which is rather long-winded. I think I would leave the original abbreviations in italics, and add an explanation in square brackets or a footnote if possible. Hope this helps. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 16 hrs (2017-10-11 23:03:42 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- So to be clear, one of their roles is to work out CCSS and INS contributions from peoples salaries...,.
