L'ancienne dénomination " anti-microsome " a été abandonnée"

Vous remarquerez aussi que sur medscape l'auteur écrit "Thyroid peroxidase (microsomal antigen): Antithyroid peroxidase antibody (TPOAb)"; le terme "microsomal antigen" a été remplacé par "thyroid peroxydase".

Il n'y a que deux possibilités ici: soit vous utilisez l'ancien terme (anticorps anti-microsomes thyroïdiens) que beaucoup d'auteurs, médecins ou non, utilisent encore par habitude ou par méconnaissance de l'évolution terminologique, soit vous mettez le terme actualisé (Auto-anticorps anti-thryroperoxidase), on peut bien sûr enlevé "auto".

Pour finir, vous verrez sur le medscape que ces anticorps anti-thyroperoxydases ne sont pas spécifiques à la thyroïdite auto-immune de Hashimoto et peuvent être présents chez la femme enceinte '14%) , les diabétiques du type 1 dans 40% des cas etc.

Voici un petit copié-collé sur le sujet des anticorps antithyroïdiens (Medscape anglais), je n'ai pas pu trouver d'équivalent en français sur Medscape France. Pour info Medscape est un site de référence réservé aux professionnels de la santé. leur application est la plus téléchargée dans le monde médical (FMC)
"Antibodies directed against 3 major thyroid antigens are as follows:
Thyroglobulin: Antithyroglobulin antibody (TgAb)
Thyroid peroxidase (microsomal antigen): Antithyroid peroxidase antibody (TPOAb)
TSH receptor: Anti-TSH receptor antibody (TRAb)
The presence of serum thyroid antibodies usually indicates an autoimmune thyroid disorder, but elevated levels may also be detected in other conditions.
Conditions associated with elevated serum TPOAb levels include the following:
Hashimoto disease (90%-100%) [2, 3]
Graves disease (50%-80%) [4]
Other autoimmune diseases (eg, type 1 diabetes mellitus) (40%)
Pregnancy (14%)
Sporadic multinodular goiter, isolated thyroid nodule, and thyroid cancer
