Reference Reference information: It might be a sort of screw. The Solomonic column, also called Barley-sugar column, is a helical column, characterized by a spiraling twisting shaft like a corkscrew. It is not associated with a specific classical order, although most examples have Corinthian or Composite capitals. But it may be crowned with any design, for example, making a Roman Doric solomonic or Ionic solomonic column. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solomonic_column En las diversas artes la columna salomónica, torsa o entorchada es una columna con fuste de forma helicoidal, que se utilizó fundamentalmente en Europa y en América en la arquitectura barroca. Recibe su nombre por la creencia de la época en que así fueron las columnas del Templo de Salomón. https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Columna_salomónica -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 hr (2020-09-06 21:18:24 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Bomba de husillo salomónico https://ingemecanica.com/proyectos/objetos/proyecto116/doc3p...
