Taken from a police report in Baja California, Mexico. A tourist had his vehicle stolen and is being informed of his rights under the Codigo Nacional de Procedimientos Penales. This is a line from one of the rights. The full paragraph is:

En cualquier etapa del procedimiento, las víctimas podrán actuar por si or a través de su asesor jurídico, quien solo promoverá lo que previamente informe a su representado. El asesor jurídico intervendrá en representación de la víctima en igualdad de condiciones que el defensor.
