hurried Explanation: Seems to go well in the context of the other descriptors, i.e. "hedonista, utilitarista, consumista, ultraproductivo, cuantitativo, gregario, apremiante" Apremiar: "Dar prisa, compeler a alguien a que haga algo con prontitud" The idea of demanding also goes well with the idea of "compeler", so perhaps "demanding" could also work. Also see this sense: "Compeler u obligar a alguien con mandamiento de autoridad a que haga algo" Example sentence(s):

rushed Explanation: Synonym of hurried (pax William). BTW, I was going to post "pressing" until you cast doubt upon it. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 8 hrs (2022-11-27 10:48:16 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- PS: I agree with all the other suggestions posted so far, and would be hard put to choose a Goldilocks option. urging Explanation: Hard to choose from so many great options! Maybe "urging" better captures the two-fold essence of "apremiante" (the time dimension of "urgency" and that certain degree of external force [prompting, pressing, forcing, coaxing]). For this context, I would go as far as translating "apremiante" as "ever-urging" Also, the present participle adjective looks like a closer reflection of the "-ante" suffix which indicates the doing of the action expressed by the root. https://www.bing.com/search?q=analisis+de+%22apremiar%22&cvid=f211b21d09e14540adb7ad8d07f8e7c2&aqs=edge..69i57.6692j0j1&pglt=43&FORM=ANNTA1& |
