campo plantation Explanation: The only single term that comes to mind, and would cover all the kinds of fruit mentioned in the question (some of which have specific terms, eg strawberries are grown in 'beds' laid out in 'fields') regardless of the scale of the operation, would be 'plantation'. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 hr (2023-02-15 17:19:54 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Although they are not referred to in the question, 'plantation' is commonly used when referring to places where bananas, coffee, coca leaf and other food-crops are cultivated - not to mention rubber, cotton and other industrial-scale farming operations. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 4 hrs (2023-02-15 20:31:56 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- https://www.agrifarming.in/avocado-fruit-farming Mar 30, 2019 — Generally, a plant spacing of 8 m to 10 m is recommended in the avocado plantation. FARMS AND FIELDS Explanation: Given the fact teat you have explained that thjs is a generalised heading, rather than a term used in a specific sentence, and given a little more time for reflection, I see that the text refers to soft berries as well as fruit grown on trees (pomegranates and avocados), I would suggest FARMS & FIELDS. Unless you prefer FARMS, FIELDS, AND ORCHARDS. Personally I see it more important to get the idea across to the reader than restricting yourself to a one word translation Besides, FARMS, FIELDS, AND ORCHARDS sounds good. Says I!! |
