Spanish term or phrase: sin la llave echada
I thought I had posted this a couple of days ago but I'm not sure what happened to it. It's from a police report of a burglary. The context in the sentence is:

" Que no observo nigun signo de forzamiento ni en puertas ni ventanas, excepto que la cerradura de la puerta de entrada se encontraba sin la llave echada"

There is also a previous part where it states that someone came to check on the house and:

" al meter la llave en la cerradura se dio cuenta que no estaba echada".

I'm assuming that they both mean that the door was not locked but I just want to be sure as it's obviously important for the report.
