meuble/comptoir de caisse Explanation: 'Lane' has to be 'checkout lane'. Is there a word for that in French other than the all-encompassing caisse? For 'podia/um' (see images below) I could initially think of nothing better than meuble or comptoir, especially since without reading the entire patent from which the diagrams are taken, I'm not entirely sure what the 'podium' is relative to the 'checkout stand' (although I think it is possible that the checkout stand is the combination of podium (support, meuble) and the electronic wizardry of the caisse-enregistreuse with its screens, scanners, scales, card readers, etc. La caisse ou meuble de caisse crée le lien entre le client et l'enseigne de vente https://www.agenc-mag.com/11-caisse-de-sortie Quel Comptoir d’Accueil et comptoir caisse choisir pour l’aménagement de son magasin ?
