Certains organismes intergouvernementaux, et à fortiori les ONGs, s'interdisent l'usage du terme "directives" en français car des directives ne sauraient émaner que d'instances nationales ou supra-nationales (l'UE). Les "guidelines", sinon, sont des "lignes directrices", autrement dit des prescriptions (non contraignantes) émanant d'organismes multilatéraux (ONG, organismes onusiens ou assimilés, etc.). En matière forestière, par exemple, la FAO, l'OIBT, l'UICN etc. utilisent le terme "lignes directrices" pour ces raisons. Stakeholders: parties prenantes, intervenants, acteurs, etc. joint: commun (p. ex. : joint questionnaire on forest products = questionnaire commun sur les produits forestiers) |
